The New 2021 Honda Passport

The New 2021 Honda Passport

New 2021 Honda Passport
If you’re in the market for a stylish SUV then the new 2021 Honda Passport is certainly one to consider! With four different trims to choose from Honda has created the perfect SUV for you! If your curious about new 2021 Honda Passport, you're in luck, this article will outline everything you need to know about this vehicle, so you can eliminate the guess work!

Plenty of Interior Room
When it comes to the 2021 Honda Passport interior, you won't be cramped at all. Behind the rear seats, you'll get between 41.2 to 50.5 cubic feet of space. Behind the front seats, you'll get between 77.9 to 100.8 cubic feet of space. That's not it either! You'll also benefit from an extra 2.5 cubic feet of space thanks to the underfloor storage bin. As for you and your passengers, there's plenty of room wherever you're sitting. This goes for both leg and headroom.

Good MPG
If you opt for the standard front-wheel drive option, you'll get 20 MPG in the city and 25 MPG on the highway. Upgrading to all-wheel drive gives you 19 MPG in the city and 24 MPG on the highway. Either way, these are great numbers. You won't have to worry too much about spending tons on gas.

Choose from 4 Different Trims
The new 2021 Honda Passport has 4 trims available: Sport, EX-L, Touring, and Elite. All of them come standard with front-wheel drive, but if you prefer all-wheel drive, this is available for an extra fee on all trims. With that said, read on to find out more about each trim to figure out which one's perfect for your needs.

Sport Trim
The Sport trim is the most basic option you have. But basic doesn't equate to bare bones! In fact, you'll get lots of features to enjoy with every ride. The Sport trim comes standard with remote start, proximity keyless entry, and tri-zone automatic climate control. In most other cars, you won't find these features in the base trim, so you're really getting value for money here.

In addition, the infotainment system has an 8-inch touchscreen, 7 speakers, Bluetooth, a USB port, and compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You'll also get a rearview camera, as well as automatic high-beam headlights. What's even better is the Honda Sensing suite comes standard, meaning you won't have to pay extra for a bunch of safety features! They include adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, collision mitigation braking system, road departure mitigation, and forward collision warning.

If this isn't enough for you, you can add rear parking sensors, as well as the Adventure and Urban packages. The additional features you'll get with these packages include roof rails, running boards, and underbody spoilers.

EX-L Trim
The Sport trim starts off very strong as the base trim. So you just know that Honda's got lots more for you in store with the higher-tier options. With the EX-L trim, you'll enjoy additional features that'll keep you not only safe, but also comfortable for every trip. For example, you'll get an auto-dimming rearview mirror, power liftgate, moonroof, and heating and power-adjustable seats.

In addition, you'll sit on leather-trimmed seats and your hands will grip a leather-trimmed steering wheel too. The EX-L trim definitely offers the stuff of luxury here! As for the infotainment system, you'll get the addition of satellite and HD radio, as well as 2 extra USB ports. You'll also get a few more safety features that come standard: rear cross-traffic alert and blindspot monitoring.

Touring Trim
Next up, the Touring trim has even more to offer drivers and their passengers. For instance, you'll benefit from a wifi hotspot so you never have to be without an internet connection. Other features you'll get in this trim are a 10-speaker premium stereo, satellite-linked navigation system, and a 115V household-style power outlet. You and your passengers will also get to enjoy heated rear outboard seats, a hands-free liftgate, and front and rear parking sensors for better safety.

Elite Trim
If you want the best of the best, then you have to opt for the 2021 Honda Passport Elite trim. This is the only trim to have wireless charging as standard. For the other 3 trims, you have to pay extra to get this feature. What else does the Elite trim come with? Here, drivers will get a heated steering wheel, rain-sensing windshield wipers, and perforated and ventilated front seats.

Great Safety Ratings
If safety is a main concern of yours (which it should be), then rest easy knowing that the 2021 Honda Passport is a fantastic SUV that can be relied on. The IIHS has given this SUV Good ratings for most categories in their safety ratings. And the NHTSA has given this vehicle an overall safety rating of 5 out of 5 stars. Even the base Sport trim comes with a long list of safety features that come standard. This goes to show that Honda is serious about keeping its customers safe on the road.
